As the owner of Michael's Meats, Rob Bozek gets asked this question all of the time. So here's the scoop.... in 1972, Rob's father opened Boulevard Meats on Armistice Boulevard in Pawtucket. In 1984, Rob's brother Michael assumed ownership and renamed the store Michael's Boulevard Meats. In 1988, the family business expanded into Cumberland with a second store and started using the shortened name Michael's Meats.
In 2008, Michael Bozek passed away suddenly but his name lives on with a strong family presence in the business, great food and fantastic service from Michael's Meats in Cumberland.
